Subscription shares
The JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc issued Subscription Shares on 11 June 2009 as a bonus issue to Ordinary shareholders on the basis of one Subscription share for every five Ordinary shares held.
Holders of JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc Subscription Shares can choose to convert their Subscription Shares at any time. However, the conversion price will increase from 422 pence per share to 460 pence per share on 1 August 2010.
