The annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is one of the most popular fixtures on the British sailing calendar. Over 1,600 yachts come from Europe and the USA, as well as all over the UK, to follow the 50 mile course round the Isle of Wight.

The race is a challenge that calls on a combination of skill, teamwork, the confidence to back a well-informed hunch, the ability to master tricky conditions and a desire to win. Not dissimilar to the qualities essential to J.P. Morgan’s success as one of the world’s leading asset management companies.

The race also supports four charities for people facing a different kind of challenge: cancer. We encourage all competitors to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan, Prostate UK, Breast Cancer Care and The Ellen MacArthur Trust. JPMAM have funded a bespoke Just Giving.com website to enable all competitors to be able to register their boat to race for charity.
