Round the Island Race

The annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race is one of the most popular fixtures on the British sailing calendar. With approximately 16,000 sailors and 1,800 yachts from all over the world, this 50 mile course around the Isle of Wight is the largest yacht race in the UK.

80 Years
The 2011 Race marks the 80th anniversary of the first ever Round the Island Race. Here is a retrospective video celebrating this historic occasion.
