JPM Asian Investment Trust provides access to J.P. Morgan's experience and local knowledge in Asia
Investment Objective
Capital growth, primarily from investing in equities quoted on the stock markets of Asia, excluding Japan. To have a diversified portfolio of Asian stocks, normally comprising 50 to 80 investments, and uses borrowings from time to time to gear the portfolio within a range of 90% - 120% invested.

Subscription shares
The J.P. Morgan Asian Investment Trust plc issued Subscription Shares on 4 February 2009 as a bonus issue to Ordinary shareholders on the basis of one Subscription share for every five Ordinary shares held.
As a shareholder of JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust Subscription Shares, you can choose to convert your Subscription Shares at any time. However, the conversion price will increase from 176 pence per share to 203 pence per share on 1 April 2012.
