J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race

The annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race is one of the most popular fixtures on the British sailing calendar. With approximately 16,000 sailors and 1,800 yachts from all over the world, this 50 mile course around the Isle of Wight is the largest yacht race in the UK.

‘Britain’s favourite yacht race’ is a the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs. It is inclusive and all-encompassing – a day to remember, where amateur sailors race against professionals, Olympic sailors and World Champions on equal terms.

The 2012 J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race takes place on Saturday 30 June.
